are held by the individual authors, and are distributed as per licenses stated
below.

All individual snippets have a credit bar having the e-mail id of the contributor.
Since the information itself is from documents and software already holding various
licenses, no other credits are claimed for the snippets themselves. The credit bar
should NOT be interpreted as copyright, merely an acknowledgement for the contribution.
Hosting and broadcasting
There are no objections to anybody hosting and popularising the LOST snippets since it
meets the common end of GNU/ Linux awareness and spreading of the usage of GNU/ Linux.
However, the following must strictly be complied with:
- The spirit of GNU/ GPL is not compromised in any way.
- There will be no alterations to form/ content as envisaged in the above licences.
The section between the two colons ":" at top and bottom to be the limits of each
snippet.
- LOST snippets CANNOT be used for commercial purposes, which would include use of the
term LOST for advertising or sale in any form as LOST ... The tarballs may be bundled
without change in form on any CD/ distro/ magazine or web-site under terms of GPL and
GFDL.
- A mirror of the tarballs, without ANY changes to the form or content of the original
tarballs is welcome.
- LOSTs are NOT to be used as a vehicle for spamming ... by appending to them for personal/
commercial publicity
